DV Errors on tape cause conversion to stop
I am converting my family tapes from DV to DivX. I have 'copied' the material from the DV tape onto the hard drive and am using Dr DivX using Watch Folders to convert. I just noticed that some of the DivX files are very short and when reviewing the original DV files I see that there are errors. These errors seem to cause Dr DivX to stop converting.
Any suggestions on how to rectify?
Thanks

Not sure if they are type 1/2. I ripped using MSFT MovieMaker. Most of the movies are ok and convert well. With the ones that fail, you can see artifacts (pixelation, previous scene showing through etc) on both the original DV (played through the camera -Sony TFV900) and in the DV file on disk.
Thanks
Look, I decided to completely post my answers in DivX Community Forum, so I wont post here anymore. You can pop a question there.

Which type are yours DV files (type1 or type2)? With what program you transfered DV files on hard disk?
