hello,
I have repeatedly removed and then downloaded the divx
player, codec and have even went back to the old version
instead of the 6.6 version.
I used to be able to watch all movies and for WEEKS now
since downloading the new version Every time I click on
ANY movie my browser just shuts down COMPLETELY.
I am using IE7 and need help.
I need help please:
my two problems are (1) when opening a DVD using any DVD to simulate the drive I dont know which of the .VOB files I shall drag into the divX converter window. Of course there are always a few "Gigantic" files containing verious languages and screen settings and I simply dont know whcih one to take. I tried one as well as all files and after converting I have the problem # (2)
when playing the convertet .avi file my loudness volume is very low (although I use this AC3 filter) and the sunchronization between sound and picture is nto correct

1. You need to make sure you have the IFO file in the same folder as the VOB files you are selecting. Then select the first VOB file in the folder and Converter should read and add all the ones you need.
2. To adjust the volume of the ac3 audio try setting this before you convert:

I need some help..i have a website where i have thumbnails on the site. when you click on the thumbnail the concept is for that particular movie to launch an play in the divx web player...but it doesnt it pops up a box asking do i want to download it....can anyone help with this issue please i know its something simple but i am new to divx an i just cant figure this one out...

Everytime i go to stage 6 to look at a video ( Lost or heroes) it keeps saying i must download Divx which i do but it never plays the video???
Is there something i need to set up or do.

a lot of pple have had similar problems with the versions of divx web player that you're downloading: either 1.3.0 or 1.3.1. Divx labs have created a new beta version which solves the problem, which can be found here:
