For too long now, DivX Converter has lived in a fantasy world where “vista” means only a distant view or prospect. With much kicking and screaming, we recently managed to drag him into the DivX operating room for some OS-support surgery.

He may look the same on the outside, but he has had all his major organs transplanted and now he needs your help to make sure he can survive on Vista without life support.

If you’re a Windows Vista user, we encourage you to download the new Vista-compatible DivX Converter 6.5 beta and help us get DivX Converter back on his feet.

Known issues:
  • Some VOB files may have audio/video synch issues when converted.
  • When multiple subtitle tracks or multiple audio tracks are chosen, the output currently contains multiple tracks of the default subtitle or audio track only.
  • DivX Converter shortcuts remain under the Start menu after the program is uninstalled.
