Tinker, tinker, tinker. It's what we at DivX love to do! And when we reach a good tinkering point, we love sharing our tinkering results with our favorite users: Macintosh users! (Shhh... don't tell our Windows users as they tend to get easily bent out of shape!)

Improvements This version of DivX for Mac has a several key improvements to whet your appetite: The DivX Codec has been updated to our latest-and-greatest, version 6.4.0 with all it's new features:

- A new High Performance Encode Mode
- VBV Compliant 1 Pass Constant Quality Mode
- "Fast First Pass" option to speed 2-pass encoding
- Lanczos4 and Lancaoz4 (fast) resizing now available
- The DivX Codec also supports multi-threading for faster encoding on multi-chip and multi-core PowerPC and Intel Macs
- The DivX Converter now supports multi-threading for faster conversion on multi-chip and multi-core PowerPC and Intel Macs
- We built in Support for Dr. DivX 2.0 for Mac OS X which is coming soon to our labs site (more tinkering going on all the time!)
- 1080 HD support with encode sizes up to 1920 x 1088
