Mobile codecs

DivX Mobile Player uses the DivX video codec which is compliant with the MPEG4 ASP standard. The audio must be MP3. The file container must be AVI. The DivX Mobile Profile allows for 320x240 pixels with bitrates up to 600 kbps for video and 128 kbps stereo for audio. However, the performance of DivX Mobile Player is highly dependant on the speed of the processor in your phone. I would recommend that you try 320x240 with 300 kbps video and 128 kbps stereo audio. That usually plays well on most the devices we've tested and the quality looks pretty good. If you aren't using stereo headphones, you might want to try 64 kbps mono audio for smaller file sizes.

DivX Mobile Player is not designed to play any other video formats.
