Wireless Troubles DSM 330
My DSM 330 can't connect to my new wireless router. I have set-up the routers wireless station access list and included in the MAC address of the DSM. But, for some reason it can't connect. I've checked and rechecked the obvious things. I don't want to run the DSM wired because of its location.
Suggestions ideas welcomed.
Firmware: 1.0.0.11
any ETA of the next firmware and I hope the next firmware sorts some of these problems out and includes UPNP support?
The discovery does not work across a bridge unless the bridge is configured to pass UPnP discovery packets.
It may be your PC's firewall that is blocking it.
Update, I've reset my router to use standard WPA. Wii, another PC and laptop all connect with everything working normally, DSM don't. Never had this problem while I had my Buffalo Link theatre.
Worst case scenario, if you really want to keep your DSM but cant get the wireless to work, invest in some high speed Powerline adaptors like the Netgeat HDX-101's.
Thats what I used, and they are absolutely brilliant.
Guarantees interference free transmission, and flawless HD playback from my PC at the other side of the house.
After making changes to your network, you must power cycle the DSM-330 to guarantee that it picks up the newest settings. Please try unplugging the device and plugging it back in, and then run the setup wizard again. If this does not help, email us at ConnectedFeedback@divx.com and reference this post.

330 recognises server it goes through the entire process of connecting. Everything looks fine and then it tells me that it can not connect to the server.
I have tried all the suggestions for divx connected
Power down
power up
wired connection
wireless
latest patches
factory reset
computer reboot
removing all media player software
removing all codecs
Still no joy, The only thing that is missing from when it was working at first is the actual device from the device list when you do your initial setup of divx connected. I can only assume that this is becuase the device can not connect to the server!!!!!
I have contacted D-Link direct (EXPENSIVE CALL) they only gave me the usual suggestions. now in the process of returning under warranty. If I could get a solution beore returning the unit I would be happier.
Any help much appreciated.
Sorry so long winded
