Can You Play Protected Content On Your Mobile?
As the title says, is it possible to play protected content on your mobile? I have DivX mobile installed on my windows mobile device, but I can't seem to play purchased content on the device, and I am unable to register the device as I can't find where the activation id is.
Any help is appreciated.

Sorry, you can't register 0.89 with the DivX VOD service. However, none of the VOD titles currently available for sale would be small enough to play using DivX Mobile Player anyway. You'd need a super fast device to even come close. For example, even a 600+ Mhz iPAQ still wouldn't do justice to most purchased videos. Furthermore, since the videos are protected, you can't use DivX Converter (or anything else) to resize them.
You might be interested in the LG Viewty or Samsung F500. Both of those phones are DivX certified and can play some (not all) VOD videos.
