5.1 Audio Output

Hi all,

I have my setup just right now and all seems to be working perfectly playing MKV files thanks to the revised setup procedures posted here.

My system encompasses a Sound Stage X1 connected to a 42" LCD HD Telly. My divx connected is connected to the TV through the HDMI input from which sound also travels...and from there a twin RCA audio from the TV to the X1.

My final issue now is that the X1 has an 8 pin mini din socket 5.1 output which before divx, was used to connect my dvd player - the supplied plug was a mini 8pin din to 6 RCA sockets which went in the dvd player inputs giving 5.1 lovely.

My question here is how do I get 5.1 out of the divx connected device into a 8 pin mini din input? I think I can get hold of a scart lead which has the 8 pin mini din on the other end but will this give me 5.1?

Or can I use some of the other outputs at the rear of the connected device to archive this - the only requirement that I have is the input into the 8 pin mini din socket of the X1?

Any pointers great fully received!
