web player
I just tried to use Web Player for the 1st time. I converted a Quictime video to Divx using Quicktime Pro. I took the converted Divx file and uploaded it to my hosting account. When the Web Player form asked for file URL or path, I entered the directory on my website where the file is. I got following message:
"the video has to be in divx format. You can use Divx to convert it. Here is the address for the free download of Dr. Divx..."
This IS divx video and what the heck is up with that? I tried a few times with same results. I have flash videos hosted on my site so it's not like I'm totally crazy...
ANY HELP is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
I'm using latest version Divx Pro for Mac. I am running Mac OS 10.5.2

First, thank-you for your reply. I'm new to the forums and think I may have posted in wrong one, but here goes... I haven't been available for a few days but here is where the file is...

Thanks-Again!
You discovered a bug in the web player code generator. I'll have to fix that, In the meantime though you can download the Webplayer SDK and use the code generator that is in there, it will work.

The issue is that the divx directory in your UL is misinterpreted by the code generator here on labs.
Thanks for your reply.
I downloaded the Webplayer SDK as you suggested and the code generator works fine. Now I just have to put the DivX download link on the pages I embed the videos.
