Dr DivX crash problem

Hi Guys, im new to Dr DivX and just curious as to whether im doing something wrong?
i followed the instructions obtained the file in this caes a WMV file then tried to start the Dr by hitting the "resume" button then it starts the analyzing part then keeps crashing before it does the audio part?? in some cases it gets past the analyzing then starts the audio conversion it doesnt give any prompts or faults just crashes? any ideas guys?

It seems it doesnt like WMV vids i tried it with an MP4 and no probs it worked fine
Sometimes the background analysis can crash without taking down the entire thing - it reports it's died, but carries on working quite happily (check your CPU and drive usage for clues). The trick is to make sure it finishes the analysis before you put it into the Encode queue.
Sadly the only guy coding for the doc has been pinched for this project, so I don't know when he'll be able to get any time for the doc again. Hopefully it's one of the crashes that can be worked around.
