Server 1.3 not adding external NTFS drives

Server 1.3 not adding external NTFS drives

Hi,

Wondering if someone can help. I have all my media on three external drives that are NTFS. In previous servers I have been able to add this folders by selecting the drive. In the new Server 1.3 it will allow me to go through and add each folder from a NTFS drive individually but will not allow me to select the whole drive, although it does allow me to add a FAT32 drive.

Anyone have any ideas on how to sort this?

Chris

We are able to reproduce these problems

We are able to reproduce both of these problems based on your descriptions. Thanks for the feedback. A bug fix release is in the works. I will let you know when a beta version is available to test.

Any progress?

Hi Dsalmonsen,

Is there any progress on this fix? I can't upgrade past 1.2.0 Build 48 until there is a fix to this, as all my files are on NTFS drives.

Cheers

Chris

Another problem too

Hi,
I have also noticed this problem. Is there a workaround apart from adding each folder.

I also noticed a new bug with 1.3 server today.

When scrolling through a number of albums (in title mode), you see a preview of the album art in that folder. Unfortunately I have noticed that sometime the wrong album art is displayed.
This happens when the folder name starts with the same characters as the proceeding folders.
ie. If I have folder 'pink' and 'pink floyd' when I move over the pink album it will show a preview of both the pink and pink floyd ablum art. Even though no 'pink floyd' is in the 'pink' folder. It does this on a number of different folders. As another example I have music by 'Jam' and it procceds to preview 'jamelia', 'james blunt' and 'james morrison'.

I hope this feedback helps.
