everytime i try to click the link to download divx mobile i get a screen that says access denied and then it says i am not authorized to view this page. WTF? why is it doing this? i just want to watch some six feet under on my phone while im at work and i cant get this stupid program to download. HELP!

Guys, go to: http://mobile.divx.com on your phone. Login and download the mobile player directly to your phone. Worked for me!
I have registered and did subscribe to the DivX Mobile Community... but every time I click on the Mobile download link I get Access denied. Yesterday and today... I just want a simple mobile player for my Nokia E71. Why make it so hard?

Successful installs of the DivX Mobile Player have been completed via download to host computer; then installing the app via usb connection to the target mobile device.
1) Download the DivX Mobile Player app to your computer.
2) Un-compress the file to a folder on your desktop.
3) Connect your mobile device to your computer.
4) In that newly created folder; Double-Click on the file name "SetupPocketPC".
-Follow the simple setup prompts and the rest is biscuits & gravy...

Unable to connect to database server
If you still have to install Drupal, proceed to the installation page.
If you have already finished installing Drupal, this either means that the username and password information in your settings.php file is incorrect or that we can't connect to the MySQL database server. This could mean your hosting provider's database server is down.
The MySQL error was: Too many connections.
Currently, the username is divxlabs and the database server is LABS-MYSQL.
Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
For more help, see the Installation and upgrading handbook. If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your hosting provider.
I get the same thing , when i try to download divx for mobile , i just get access denied,wtf is going on here? dont you people want our business?I will just continue using real player.Get it together divx or perish.

Same here! I aks myself why to register when the access is denied...
i have a problem even getting to the download page. i have a samsung ace with opera mobile and ie. in opera if i go to the mobile .divx .com then i get a password error even though its right. if i go through ie on the download page then it says it wont open on my device . help i want to watch dark knight.

This install was with the latest version v0.91 of the DivX Mobile Player on multiple devices running Windows Mobile 6.1.
Successful installs include HTC's 8925/TyTN II and the new HTC Touch Pro/Fuze with Touch-Flo 3D. Both work great and perform flawlessly. Installs were painless and take no more than a few minutes to complete.
* Read the installation instructions; refer to figure 1.
** When downloading new DivX videos to your device, you must "refresh list" in the DivX Player Menu for the newly downloaded videos to be available for review/playback in your DivX Library.
*** This download only contains instructions covering installation of the DivX Mobile Player on a Windows Mobile based phone via windows based PC. The DivX Mobile Player application is NOT included in this download package.
