i need the divx player for windows mobile
instale el divx player mobile en mi WM 6.5 y solo las demos pueden reproducir audio y video, en el resto de mis archivos .avi solo se reproducen los videos sin audio.
DivX Mobile Player will only play DivX Mobile videos. Not all AVI files are DivX files. Not all DivX files are DivX Mobile files. If you have a video that doesn't play or has an audio track you can't hear, try converting that video into DivX Mobile format.

Are you installing version 0.93?
Is the date set correctly on your phone?
You may need to hard-reset your device (erasing all data), reset the date and then re-install DivX Mobile Player 0.93.

No. The N97 uses Symbian 5th edition and there is no version of DivX Mobile Player available for 5th edition.

No. DivX uses MKV files for the DivX Plus HD profile which currently is not supported by any phone.

Actually downloaded trial version of DivX Mobile Player for my Samsung SCH-770 Saga. It is equipped with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. In launching DivX Player nothing appears to happen...until you start moving the mouse. It magically starts painting the DivX Player into view. Click on Menu and start painting the selections into place. In other words, DivX Mobile Player does not render correctly. Can you offer assistance?
I received a response from DivX English Support that directed me here to post the questions should uninstalling and reinstalling the DivX Player failed. Well, it did. I even tried PPC for Version 5 and it too behaved the same way. Any ideas?

Unfortunately we don't have a Samsung SCH-770 Saga to test so I don't think we will be able to offer any help. The Saga might not be compatible with DMP.
Reinstalling is not likely to make any difference. The WinMo 5 and WinMo 6 versions of DMP are identical so it won't matter which link you click on (they download the same file). It sounds like the Saga has an odd display driver compared to other Windows Mobile phones we've tested.
Does anybody else have a Samsung SCH-770 Saga and tried DMP?

For what it's worth, I'm seeing the same problem on my Samsung Saga, I can get a video to "play", in that audio is heard and as I move the mouse around, the areas underneath the mouse get updated.
Any suggestions to avoid this issue?

Sorry, there is no version of DivX Mobile Player available for Symbian OS 7.0. You must have version 9.0 or later.
Alternatively, you can use one of the DivX certified phones.

The LG KU990 (Viewty) is a DivX-certified phone, meaning that you don't have to download DivX Mobile Player to view DivX video files. You can play them directly from the phone's built-in player. It also allows you to record video directly into DivX files.

I am looking for a divx installation files that be installed on O2 XDA orbit II operating on Windows mobile 6.0. I have tried installing the software on the the Divxlabs but unfortunately I get the error that "It is not a pocket PC software." If possible please can you let me know where to get the files or am I doing something wrong whilst installing the divx on the mobile.

Make sure you are downloading the Windows Mobile Professional version of DivX Mobile Player.

The Nokia N70 ships with a Symbian OS 8.1a , Series 60 UI OS. The current version of the DMP is designed to run on Symbian OS 9.0 or later.

I am currently running windows mobile 6.1 on my HTC Mogul phone. Is there a version of the DivX Mobile that will run on that platform. I see Mobile 6 with the 3 versions but I don't see anything on 6.1

DMP has worked on the Windows Mobile 6.1 devices that we have tried. Your mileage may very.
Despite the list of 5 different downloads for Windows Mobile, you may notice there are really just 2 versions of DMP. There are 5 different links but they all point to the same 2 files.
The "winmoppc" version is for touch screen devices. In Windows Mobile 5 they were called "Pocket PC" phones. In Windows Mobile 6 and 6.1 they are called "Classic" or "Professional" phones.
The "winmosp" is for non-touch screens. In WinMo 5 they were "Smartphones" while WinMo 6/6.1 calls them "Standard" phones.
Microsoft can't seem to settle on their marketing names.
Can't seem to get either version to work on the Diamond. ANy ideas?

I just installed Divx mobile player on my Vogue (Touch). I was able to play the demo files. But I tried to play my *.AVI files and it would only play for a second then go back to the list of available divx movies to play. What am I doing wrong?

LG makes 2 DivX Certified devices currently that play DivX without having to use the player. These are the LG Viewty (KU990) and the LG Secret(LG KF750).
