Firefox 3.0.1 and online DivX videos :(
Ever since I switched to Firefox 3.0.1, I cannot watch DivX videos online. The player appears, but nothing happens when I click on the start arrow. Nothing happens when I click on the player. This is most frustrating since I cannot even watch my own DivX videos embedded on my blog (hosted on Blip TV and on DivX Vine). Does anyone have any idea why there is this glitch? I have disabled Adblock, but that makes no difference. I haven't had any response from Mozilla with regard to this problem. I also cannot listen to music on imeem or watch videos on imeem, even though I have the latest version of Flash installed.

I've had a lot of buggy problems with FF 3.x in general (VISTA <-- Yuck). Alot of the plug-ins I used before, are now incompatible with this version of FF 3.x, so I use a dif. version.
But this doesn't help you any. Where are your actual DivX videos stored... ? Is it possible that the source video is no longer available..?? Maybe give a link (if you can) to where your video's are, and not playing... might be able to give or get more insight... Hope this is of some help. (Make sure your
javascriptis enabled... );)

I don't have Vista - I'm still on my good old XP Home. My DivX videos are hosted on blip, and I have embedded them onto my blogspot blog. My husband can see them fine on his computer, so they are still available. My javascript is enabled, too.
Now a new problem has arisen - when I do a right-click on the DivX video screen, I do get the menu, but when I click on preferences or any other feature, whereas a few days ago it worked perfectly, I now get a tiny popup browser window which is empty of all text instead of the usual DivX popup.
My blog is at http://ringsideseat.blogspot.com
There is not a single DivX on the web that will work in my browser, not even the introductory one at Divx.com. I have no problem with my "resident" DivX player, on the other hand - it works perfectly. It is the Web DivX player that won't work for me any more.
I am contemplating going back to FF2, in spite of the endless bugs I had with it - at least I could watch online DivX videos.
Thank-you so much for responding, J. :)
I have tried to watch my online DivX videos with Internet Explorer - they don't work either. This is so frustrating. :(
I had a similar problem with Mozilla 3.0.1 and 3.0.3 versions. Couldn't do anything about it so I tried Google Chrome and it works! So far anyway :).
