No Video, only audio (DivX 6.8)
The DivX player works fully, but nothing else does. I get audio in Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, and Media Center PC, but no video. Ran GSpot, and it says I have the codecs. I'm using Vista 32. I have played this before on another computer with XP, using MPC. Here are some specs from GSpot:
Stream Type..
Type: AVI
IMRR: 1.00
I/L: 1 vid frame (42 ms) Split: No
Comments: ISFT: Software - VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 (build 2366/release)
Video..
4CC: DX50/XVID
Name: DivX 5.0
(More Info): The following codec...: DivX Decoder Filter
Runtime: 01:45:34
x:y: 616x336
Bitrate: 795
FPS: 23.976
Qf: 0.160 bits/pixel
DirectShow Render: Video Src Type: 4cc: DX50
Video Path: (S) --> AVI Splitter --> DivX Decoder Filter --> (R)
Audio Path: (S) --> AVI Splitter --> Moonlight Odio Dekoda --> AC3Filter --> (R)
I've run the "All in one" fix, and uninstalled/installed DivX 3 times.
But..GSpot says I'm fine. :-( Any suggestions?

To change the merit...
In GSpot
Go to System -> All Codecs and Other Filters
Click the "Name" Header to sort by name
Find "DivX Decoder Filter"
Right-click -> Set Filter Merit...
Slide the slider all the way to the top.
i've recently started having the same problem. i havent changed my web browser or anything, i've uninstalled and reinstalled divx web browser several times now, even tried using older versions, although now im back to the most current. one day i was watching videos and the next day it was only audio. cant figure out what happened or why. anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you very much for the info...

One reason could be that your system chooses a Divx/Xvid decoder which is unable to playback the Video, over the correct one. In this case you'd need to check/change the Merritt of that decoder. But be warned, if you do it wrong you might not be able to playback anything anymore !
The most save way would be using vlc (videolan.org) player.
This player uses its own decoder rather than the windows ones. Try it!
