Server 1.3 and Mu3 playlist problem

Server 1.3 and Mu3 playlist problem

Since updating to Server V1.3 I can only see the name of the playlists - no songs. When I revert back to V1.2 fine no problems. The playlists also play fine in Media player. Anyone else had any problems.

Cause of the problem

I registered the same problem. It's caused by the fact, that server 1.3 didn't show songs in playlists which are not in the database. In server 1.2 the songs in playlists were automatically added to the database.
The only solution I found is to add the folders with the songs from the playlists to the database.

I have been experimenting with what you said about songs being in the database and have come up with a bit of a workround - it seems that if you add the folder the music files are in to the database and then set the privacy to pin protect the music folder is hidden and the songs (and artwork) in the playlists show up and play (even though they still don't show in the Server interface as in V1.2) - it's a bit clunky but works OK for me.

Ah well it seems a backward step - but looks like I will have to stick with V1.2.
