"A live Ethernet cable is not being detected" error message

HI, sometime i get this message from my dsm-330 :

"A live Ethernet cable is not being detected" when i watch a movie

and all my ip adress configuration is lost i need to re-enter these three field :

ip adress, mask, gateway...

it seem that a get the same behavior when im using the wireless connection but this time i got " connection lost to the server"

i have the lastest divx connected (1.4 build 59) and lastest firmware (1.1.2.37), under windows vista SP1

This could be a problem with your router

This problem is ethier a flaky router or a flaky DSM-330 device. So far, I have not heard of an issue like this with the DSM-330.

There is also a smaller possibilty that your Ethernet cable is defective in some way and that the wireless issue is just a coincidence casued by intereference.

One last idea is try a power line conditioner in case the AC power is noisy.
