Improve DivX Converter.

Hello.

I am using DivX Converter to convert DVDs to DivX.

I am really pleased because it's ultra simple and works well.

For example comparing the quality with others programs like DVDFab or Clone DVD Mobile, DivX converter is actually higher using the same bitrate. (REALLY EXCELLENT QUALITY) But the problem is that I can not correctly select the .vob files corresponding to the main movie, discarting advertisements, extras, fbi warnings, etc

Why the DivX company does not improve divx converter, so you can select the main movie? Like other programs (dvd fab, self-Chunk, clone dvd mobile, Xilisoft DVD ripper and others)

My idea is to use ANY DVD to spend the whole DVD to the hard disk and then be able to use Divx converter to select the main movie and pass it on to divx.

Does anyone know if the company divx will develop this important feature?

The program would be much better!

It's simple, powerful, generates high-quality divx 1300kbs, but this difficulty it subtracts points!

Another nice feature to be adde would profile: "1-pass quality based" and possibility to set the quantizer to 3.0/4.0 and forget the bitrate (kb's), because 1300 kb's (defaults) is not enough for all movies.

When I started with DivX converter, I remember that did not work because the error was "missing audio codec" when tried to rip any dvd movie.

after investigating on the Internet, I discovered the "all in one fix," and now I can use the program without problems.

I think All in one Fix should be included in the DivX pack with instructions to allow users to resort to it if the conversion fails ...

Because many users, when the program fails, move to another program.

Can you include everything needed INSIDE DivX Converter instead need to external filters, libraries, etc?

From divx community forum: "Try throwing an MPEG-II PAL video at the Converter. You'll end up with the wrong frame rate (29.97) and the wrong frame size. Converter simply cannot treat MPEG-II PAL correctly. This is a known fact for more than a year. It has been reported. More than once. And it has been added to the bug list. And as above: R.I.P."

Q: When I set out to a 700MB CD, Is the conversion done in 2-pass or one? (always talking about DivX Converter)

Q: Can you enable the profiles selection for Converter? Fast, 1 pass quality based, 2 pass, Insane Quality, etc? For example adding "advanced" button with more options.
