New Firmware - 08/13/2007

FYI, after the firmware update, you may encounter a problem detecting your wired connection.

We found that if you get stuck there, you can hit setup on the remote, and run the setup wizard again, and then you should be able to get your wired connection.

This firmware also resets all your former settings, so you'll have to reconfigure your video, etc.

Wired is messed up but wireless should be ok from what I understand then ?

So anyways..i was watching futurama when i saw this message, and so i decided to restart my box to get the update, because i use wireless..but anyways, it said upgrade failed, so idk, didn't try again, as this has some problems and not announced yet..back to futurama i guess....hehe...Make sure you announce it when it's ready for download..also, i hope it has a screensaver and force 16:9 for 4:3 vids.

Hold off on the update...

You may want to hold off on the firmware update if your box asks you for one, until we make an announcement of another release. If you already got the release, you should be able to do the workaround: Hit setup on the remote, go to network, enable DHCP, and then back out to run the setup wizard again, then choose your wired connection.

Ehh..there is new firmware? It says no update available..where to download it? Also what's changed?
