Widescreen HD Menu Problems

Widescreen HD Menu Problems

I previously had my Divx Connected box connected to a Standard Def. television. I had no problems with this configuration, the box worked perfectly.

Now I've upgraded my setup, and I have the box connected through HDMI to a Samsung Series 7 HDTV. When I switched the menu over to the 1080p Widescreen menu it appears to have cut off a portion of the menu. When navigating the videos an entire column has been cut off.

Have you tried the 720p setting?

I would suggest trying 720p and also upgrading your PC's graphics driver.

720p

720p still produces this issue, along with the latest graphics drivers.

Maybe your TV is set to overscan?

EOM

Good point, also

Did you adjust the screen size in the device setup menu when you chose the HD setting?

I typically do not adjust

I typically do not adjust the screen size, however I did adjust it so that the entire picture shows on the TV. I have also set the TV to "Just Scan" for the HDMI picture setting. This issue only appears when I am viewing the Divx Connected menus, and only when it is in 1080 or 720 modes. However whenever I play a video it will appear correctly and nothing is cut off.

This is a graphics card or graphics driver issue on the PC

Can you let me know the PC brand / model and graphics card type. Also the driver version.
