New Server Plug-ins SDK!
The new version of the DivX Connected server plug-in SDK just became available on DivX Labs. Now, the SDK takes advantage of the new features of DivX Connected server v1.4.
Major changes:
Film strip control - Flip through content thumbnails either vertically or horizontally, taking the DivX Connected UI to the 3rd dimension, with its perspective and reflection elements
Tile control - Nest content into rows and columns of tiles, which are scrollable both horizontally and vertically. Unlike the original thumbnail control, the tile control can contain text, labels, images, and more, allowing you to let your imaginations run free.
Under the hood - The underlying Gecko engine has been updated, which improves system speed and performance. This is the same new engine that powers Firefox 3.
Launching HTML pages with Flash content - Read porfitron's detailed post.
What are you waiting for? Download the latest version and keep developing. Make sure you have the latest DivX Connected server version installed.

I can't see any difference other than the 'M' key for the menu no longer works. I can't access pin protected folders.
Also will these enhancements appear in the next firmware upgrade for the DSM-330?
The features mentioned here are available to developers in Server 1.4, which is the current production server. This is not tied to firmware, which is the stuff inside the DSM-330; this is a software enhancement to the server-side software running on your PC, which manages your content and renders the user interface.
As an end user, you do not have to install the SDK to experience all this stuff; you just need to download the latest plug-ins that leverage these APIs (e.g. Yahoo Full Featured, Vimeo, Hulu Player, etc.).
As for the M key, do you mean you're having trouble with the PC-client?
"As for the M key, do you mean you're having trouble with the PC-client?"
Yes, the 'M' key no longer brings up the menu with this new version of the SDK.
Looks like they changed a few things... can you try the HOME key and see if it works. I'll check with Dev to make sure this was intentional.
Yes thank you, the 'Home' key now brings up the menu that the 'M' key used to. Which key does what the 'Home' key used to do (return to main selection menu)?
Also, what else has changed?

hindsight is correct, the PC client "m" key to get to the menu no longer works when you install the new SDK. Perhaps its changed to another key?
I have also noticed that the help->keyboard control.. menu has vanished.
Going back to the previous SDK client and everything is OK again and the "m" key takes you to the Actions "login" screen.
