Accessing from PS3
Hi Guys,
I've been looking for couple of hours some explanation on the way to access my own DivX Connected server through my PS3: since I've been unable to find any, I decided to join the site to ask.
Can anyone explain me IF and HOW this can be done? Eventually, is it preview the implementation of a solution to provide access to Connected from PS3?
Thank you very much for the help.

This is so you can watch DivX content that was purchased on-line.
Here's a good walk though on how to set it up, so you can watch the films downloaded at FilmFresh:

Once you're device is registered, you can simply download and watch PURCHASED content.
More info is here:

Hope this answered your question.
Here's the link to the Device Registration:

I haven't tried it yet, but I would gladly use your input on this. Good luck!
PS3's latest firmware (2.5) offers divX support: see under System Settings - DivX VOD Registration Code. We are then supposed to register using that individual code. But where do you we go for the registration?
Thanks in advance!
You can't access the DivX Connected experience with a PS3 (at this time), since the PS3 is not a DivX Connected client. At home, I have compared using the PS3 connected to a UPnP server to a DSM-330 connecting to the same content, and the DivX Connected experience is better in every way (better UI, better playback, FF/RW more responsive, etc.).
If you want to experience this, you either need to get a DSM-330 or a PC-DCMP (in the SDK) to access your DivX Connected server.

hey porfritron than why does ps3 have an option in the settings menu were it give you a code to register then
