Dearest developers,

when trying to connect to a stream using http on a non standard port I get a message from the DivX Player stating that a connection cannot be established. An url used would look like this:

http://hostname.tld:81/stream/information/video.avi

If I make the same video file available through the standard (80) http port using the same software and path I experience no problems. Please advice in the best solution to fix my problem.

kind regards!

Tested : Works fine

Hey.

I've just tried to play some of my videoclips over port 81 with no problem at all.

Using the latest webplayer, also check that you are not using a proxy that prevents port 81 or even a firewall.
