If you have a DivX Certified device, you may have noticed a DivX VOD registration code somewhere in the on-screen menus of your device.
Since it is DivX Certified, the Playstation 3 is guaranteed to play back any file that has been converted with DivX Converter or Dr. DivX on the ‘home theatre’ profile.
Also, with the 2.5 firmware update, the Playstation 3 allows you to register the PS3 and enabled DivX ‘Video on Demand’ playback.
DivX VOD is DRM-protected content in the DivX format that you can rent or buy online at DivX partners' websites. For more on DivX VOD see www.divx.com/vod
To watch DivX VOD content on your PS3, all you need to do is register the device in your DivX Account.
