get metadat from IMDB

Would be great to be able to fetch metadata and cover arts for videos and music from internet databases (e.g. IMDB)

This is a killer feature but

This is a killer feature but there are likely licensing issues if DivX were to develop the code themselves.

The best bet is 3rd party - A program was written a while back, DCInfo - check the plug-ins section, however, it hasn't been updated since Version 2 and is no longer correctly retrieving data.

The only other option is a semi-manual movie metadata retrieval system --> see http://labs.divx.com/node/6859. As far as I know, it doesn't dowload cover art though.

For music, use Tag & Rename.
