99% CPU usage with DivX Connected 1.4.x

We've been using DivX connected for over a year without any real problems, but find that the version 1.3.x and 1.4.x server software (both release and beta) intermittently jumps to 99% CPU usage for no apparent reason, after which it stops responding and requires the application to be closed using Task Manager or the server to be restarted.

There doesn't appear to be any obvious reason, although it does appear to happen more often when the server is NOT in use (i.e. the software is running, but no clients are connected) and after library items have been added or removed.

The problem can occur anything from once a week to twice a day, so there is no obvious pattern.
