Connected 1.5 Beta

I uninstalled all divx related software today and then installed server 1.5 beta, and divx 7. Went to my tv and commenced to watch a mkv movie and come to find out that i had NO AUDIO.

Even tho the audio icon didnt show that it was muted, in the bottom right, above the time line, it said that the audio was muted. So then a friend of mine pointed me to this http://labs.divx.com/node/7788 so i tried that and still nothing. I even made sure i killed all processes, copied over the file, restarted the server and then rescanned everything.

Then i thought, maybe my Yamaha receiver was the problem. The MKV was playing DTS audio, so i set my receiver to DTS, and still nothing. I read in another forum, something about AC3??? But being desperate like a whore on the corner, i tried it anyways..... and still nothing.

BUT I DO HAVE TO SAY the video looks far better and some of the new features, recently added files and some visual effects, are really nice.

Also, I noticed that there were different firmwares out. In the UK there is 1.1.3.4 and in the USA we are still lagging behind with 1.1.2.37. Does it matter which firmware is used? is there a later version for the USA than the .2.37???
