When I installed it on my system it started to work and got about 20% done and then it came up with an error and shutdown. I uninstalled it. I am running Vista Premium. When I tried to reinstall it it said my system wasn't right. Any comments or help?
At first I am speaking German.
When the error comes there is information: ModName: atioglxx.dll
atioglxx.dll is a DLL File (means Dynamic Link Library).
Under XP, dll Files are saved in C:Windows\system32.
Vist this site:[url=http://www.afreedll.com/terminology.php] and download the atioglxx.dll File.
Now you must change the old dll File ( the old may exist) with the new one.
You should restart your system. It Works!!!
I hope it works by your sytems too and I wish!!!!

I do have at least a similar issue. Downloaded version 7 yesterday, downloaded demo movie "ElephantsDream". As soon as I open the movie the DivX player crahes (Win XP professional, SP3, 2GB RAM, Pentium 4, 3.2 GHz, ATI grafic 256 MB). The error message claims to send (to Microsoft):
AppName: divx player.exe
ModVer: 6.14.10.5696
AppVer: 7.0.0.186
ModName: atioglxx.dll
Offset: 000ba2dc

With older Player 6 no Problem!
I can open all DIVX-Files with Media Player Classic, not with DIVX Player 7!
It´s a Bug?

atioglxx.dll is part of the ATi Catalyst driver. Just update your drivers for your vga and you should be ok.
