Issues with pausing
Hi I'm having real trouble with my dsm-330. Its been nothing but trouble since I've upgraded my tv to a hdtv. The play back although not really jerky still kinda skipped frames and although I did the dll fix it didn't really sort anything out.
So I've upgraded to the 1.5 beta version and now the dsm is either non responsive, or if I press up or down it whizzes all over the place. The final straw is now when I play a mkv file it justs plays a bit (1/2 sec) pauses plays pauses etc. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I installed the software on another computer in the house still the same.
I am running wireless.
I'm on the point of pitch it and buying a wd tv hd device.

I've had the same sort of experience since going over to HD. I've put it down to the server having to render a larger image and the wifi not really coping. Beta 1.5 has made a difference and so has dropping connected device output size.

The MKV playback issue is due to your wireless connection or the PC's CPU speed being insufficient or both.
Thanks for the reply but the issues with it pausing - are not down to my pc or wireless as I have it working fine previously. It just flits between playing and pausing like - play pause play pause - within a second. THe only thing I have done it is updated to divx 7 and put the 1.5 beta on.

we need DTS suppoted with mkv or the whole thing is a waste of time.
if you could include that in 1.5 before it is a finished product It would make my dsm-330 worth the money I paid for it.EVERY PENNY
