divx player, converter always crash since V6.0

It's the same error I've been seeing since 6.0

The things do their job, I hit exit, and they crash with this error every time.
It's ONLY DIVX that crashes. Though I have no idea what else uses ntdll.dll.
It is the ORIGINAL ntdll.dll from the installation.
Assuming it wasn't corrupted by some virus. I have a HP machine, that re-installs itself from a backup partition of strangely named, archived files. And I have restored the OS from that partition.
I made a clone copy of the windows folder immediately after setup.
same CRC for both. FWIW: Divx USED to work fine.
I've run virus scans, using many different programs, now using windows live care which seems to catch everything bad.

I wish I had a solution but not. For a few weeks there everything worked just fine, and as quick as it fixed itself, it's gone right back to the same problem. Does the conversion and when I hit quit, it crashes.

Almost identical except for start time.
I thought it might have had something to do with the removal of ffdshow. But ffdshow is still uninstalled as far as I can see. And the problem has returned.
i have also the same problem with the converter , in the past was the converter beter now yesterday i bought the new version of divx 7 the hole version ,still the converter not working ,my question to divx is while the converter not working and have much errors why you sell it ? i must pay 19 dollars there for my money went in the sky . that makes divx not beter me and also sure much peopel that buy the divx bundel have the same problem ,and i will thinx twice next time before i buy something from divx ,plzz divx do something, because we love it.
