DivXPlayer 7 will not burn DVDs

I just purchased DivXPlayer 7. The player will play a ".divx" file but will not burn.
You load the file, press the burn button and nothing happens. You don't even get an error message.
Oh yes, one more thing, this is my first DivX purchase, so I am new to this product line.

COM surogate stops working!!!!
Happens only in Windows Vista 32 and 64 Ultimate
It seems to be a Divx problem, what can I do to stop the error??

The problems was Operator Error, failure to read the manual.
If your video is loaded in the player section, it does not mean you can burn from there. You have to physically, have to drop you video on the gray disk, located on the left side. The disk will change color and then you can press the burn button.
