Divx 7 Pro vs 64-Bit Vista Ultimate ( Upgrade Issues )
When you check for upgrades with Divx 7 Pro, it finds an update,
downloads, and then installs. I've tried by running both
cmd32.exe and copy the command line from the icon properites for
"check for upgrades" and also simply selecting the icon.
The problem is that if you check for the upgrade again, it repeats
the process as if the upgrade was not successful.
Any ideas?
Can someone from Divx Support comment on this issue?
The support for Divx 7 seems to be somewhat lacking.

The cyclical update prompt in the Start menu for DivX 7 is a known issue, but it's essentially just a false positive.
If you have installed the latest version of the DivX software from the website and your DivX Converter and DivX Player are both version 7, then you can rest assured that you have the latest version installed.
I figured as such. Where is this known issue documented?
The official support site seems to not have much info on
divx 7, issues, etc.
