Works on one HDTV but not the other?

Its been many many months since i've tried to use the DSM-330, as I never could get it to connect to my network when I first purchased it. I finally decided to try again last night, so I updated the firmware and now it connects to my network!

I set everything up, it was playing videos just fine, and then I switched it from the living room TV to the bedroom TV. Now it just locks up once it gets to the menu screen.

Both TV's are 42 inch 1080p tv's, and connected via HDMI it works fine on the living room TV but not the bedroom TV. I have tried via component and hdmi and neither works.

Why will this thing work on one TV and not the other? How can I diagnose what this issue is?

This is the TV it does not work with:

See the 2nd post in this thread.

Sounds like the TV is interfering with the remote. There are a few suggestions that may work in the 2nd post of this thread.

Need to add

Also wanted to add that the remote does not seem to work either on the second HDTV. The only way to power the unit up is by pushing the physical button on the front. However, if i switch it back to my living room TV set, the power button the remote works fine.

This makes no sense, is the unit reading some kind of data from the TV before it even gets turned on?
