Open bugs in 1.5.0 build 73
Here's a list with bugs already existing in server 1.5.0 build 73:
1. Music: Stutter at start in music playback
2. Music: The 'length' info to a song shows as empty, if the song have cover art embedded. In the server metadata this info is displayed correctly.
3. Music: In the server software the listview of a folder has no information in some rows, even though the corresponding metadata is set.
4. Video: While watching a video with subtitles from a srt file the info button has no function. Also pressing pause didn't show the info.
5. Video: mkv files with special characers in the name were not recognized
6. Music: the new 'sorting by tracknumber' doesn't work for albums with more than 30 tracks.
This is something I'm not clear on. I've heard it said that .srt subtitles are supported, but what about subtitles in an MKV container.
I tried build 73 over the weekend (was that even announced? I only picked up on it because of people mentioning it in the forum) and wasn't able to change languages or change subtitles.
I also had some serious a/v sync issues (i.e., much more than 1000 ms) where the same files were fine on VLC. I'm working with my connected server and DSM-330 on a gigabit router (obviously the DSM-330 is 100mbps, but the PC is gigabit) and my NAS on a different gigabit router. I'll try moving some files off the NAS and see how getting them from local disk without nas works.
