All my photos are displaying in the wrong aspect ratio - the top and bottom are being cropped. Pressing "page down" displays them correctly but this doesn't work in a slideshow. I have tried menu/reset zoom but it is still cropped. This is beta build 53 but I think it has happened in the past

There is also a "Fill Screen" option under photo options

It will zoom all photos to fill the screen. See if that has a dot next to it. Press Menu while displaying a photo and look under options.

Hi hornsea,

I had some similar problems with photo orientation a while back. The problem ended up being that the photos were being loaded onto the system from the camera and then google picassa resaved the photos in the correct orientation rather than depending on the embedded photo data. This meant that when displayed on connected it didn't know that the photo had changed and showed it the wrong way round.
My problems were solved by doing a complete rescan of my photos.

An additional problem that confused things was that when you modify the orientation of a photo on the connected it saves a file with the photo to tell it which way round it should be displayed. I think not only should you rescan but delete all of these data files or they will just be picked up again. I cannot remeber the extension but look in each photo folder and you should see them.
