Hi !

Excuse my English, I'm from Belgium.

I've bought a new Fujitsu Siemens Amilo and my DSM-330 doesn't seem to detect it (although my old Acer is still OK).
My DSM is wirely connected to my D-Link Router.

The DHCP setting is OK, my DSM has got a 192.168.0.135 IP and my DivX Connected Server (1.5) 192.168.0.129.

When I try to ping the DSM, it works, but the DSM doesn't seem to detect my server.

I tried to reboot, to turn off my Windows Vista firewall and Antivir, but it still doesn't work.

I don't think that it's my router configuration or the DSM configuration because the Acer is still detected, so it must be my PC configuration that is the problem...

I even tried to copy the registry keys from my Acer to my Amilo but it doesn't change anything.

Have you got any idea of what I can do ?

Thanks.

Still not working...

I've just updated the firmware of my DSM330 and that resolved a little problem I had. Now, my DSM can connect wirelessly to my router (it was not able to connect before, he didn't recognize my WEP Key).
But it doesn't change the main problem. I've got two laptops, both on Vista, same DivX Connected version.
The server on the first one is always detected but the server on the new one, the only one I use now, is never found...
It's quite annoying because I don't wanna keep my old laptop.

As I already said, I tried to turn off my firewall but no success...
I can ping the DSM (192.168.0.135) and my DivX Connected software is 192.168.0.129.

Actually, I tried everything the forum proposed but nothing works and I begin to be hopeless.

I don't understand how I can fix the "per-port" thing if it's my problem.

Firewall

Do you have a firewall running on your system?

Eset Smart Security i.e., blocks connections to the Connected Server. You have to adapt the rules for the server manually.

*Edit:

Sorry for not reading your post carefully and missing, that you already tried disabling your firewall!

UPnP/Vista

Someone else can probably answer clearly, but check out this thread:

http://labs.divx.com/node/1732

They point out that Vista appears to have per-port settings for the network config.
