Hello Divx Connected Community,

i wanted to ask if it is possible to make it more easier for us about the DSM330 Firmware.
I checked every site and the forum for which firmware shall i use. Found following:

German D-Link Site:
DSM-330_fw_multi_EU_1.0.0.30.zip
DSM-330_fw_all_multi_1019_080118.zip

United Kingdom D-Link Site:
Version 1.1.3.4
Version 1.0.1.30

United States D-Link Site:
Version 1.1

Divx Forums:
1.1.2.37 they say is newest. And that should be the version on the .com site.
and i found on Site 9:
If you are in North America, use this one:
http://labs.divx.com/files/DSM-330_1.1.3.4_DLINKUSA.zip
If you are in Europe, use this one:
http://labs.divx.com/files/DSM-330_1.1.3.4_DLINKEU.zip

And i did read some have problems with the wireless in the 1.1.3.4.(well me too) The wireless connection get lost after a few minutes. Then i get a screen like "the Divx Connected Software is denying to send anything anymore". Which gets fixed when i just let it search for the wireless again.

Ok so far. Now wtf shall i use? ;) Iam confused and i guess many others too.

My wish: One firmware best the newest and working one for everybody should be as sticky in the forum or BEST on the Divx Connected Download Site.

Would that be possible?

Greetings Firbel

I second this. Having bought

I second this. Having bought another DSM-330 and subsequently looking to update the firmware, I found similar issues on the Dlink website relative to the forums.

However, responsibility for the firmware often lies with the hardware manufacturer (as outlined by DivX in a post a while ago). However, a sticky would be a good idea, particularly for new users who will come to the DivX site looking for info on such updates. The device, despite the hardware, is arguably more associated with DivX than DLink, and thus a more permanent presence on the DivX website (eg DivX Connected downloads) can only contribute to a better overall customer experience.
