CPU Usage question

Hi, can someone explain the following...

If I play a 720p MKV file using server 1.4.1, Kamiwa's config file (DivX7 for video and ffdshow for audio), the video will play flawlessly.

If i play the SAME video using server 1.5 build 75, the video will stutter and freeze to the point where it's not possible to sit through it. I initially thought this was due to server 1.5 decoding Dolby Digital 5.1 and waited patiently for Kamiwa's new config file which would let me use ffdshow for AC3 and save some CPU usage.

Now here where it gets weird... If I use Kamiwa's newly released config file for server 1.5, i still get freezes!! Granted, they're not as bad as they were while playing the video without the config but still. I get at least one freeze every 10 minutes and/or whenever there's a lot of frames in the video.

What I don't understand is that this is a reproduction of the configuration I had with server 1.4 that worked FLAWLESSLY.

If anyone can shed some light on this?? Thanks :)
