Windows 6.1 HTC Touch
Is there a dowmload version of DIVX mobile player for windows 6.1 ?
thanks for the fast responce, i have litterally just got the phone and i have not tried any other application, ive not even registered with the windows mobile site to look for other apps. I used active sync this time as before i was just doing file transfer, still no joy, states that it is not a valid pocket pc app. ps i hav already registered with all the div X labs and got my download from there so its valid download. Il try and install something else and see, do you have any ideas?
THanks
Try installing some other WinMo applications and let us know if any other apps work. See http://www.pocketpccentral.net/help/softinstall.htm
Yes, the HTC Touch is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional device and you can download DMP from http://labs.divx.com/node/6211

I have also tried to install TCPCMP but get the same error message. Can any1 help me out here.
Have you even been able to install any application on your phone? Maybe there is something wrong with your phone?
Did you copy the CAB file to your phone or did you try to install from your PC using ActiveSync?
> Go to http://labs.divx.com/MobileCommunity and log in
> Join the DivX Mobile Labs group
> Click the link to "Download DivX Mobile Player"
> Download the zip file for Windows Mobile 6 Professional
> Unzip all files and launch the executable (.exe) file
> Connect your phone to your computer and wait for ActiveSync to connect
> Follow the instructions to complete the installation

I managed to get this app working now, i was un packaging the .cab file and then transfering it over to the device as i thought it was a zip file. lol thanks anyway watched rambo4 there. dosnt entirely use the full screen tho, same black space at the bottom of my screen.
