Unable to use DivX mobile (Symbian)
Hello,
I'm using Nokia N95.
I have downloaded DivX mobile and installed it.
At this moment, the software does now associate movie files to it, so , I can only watch the two demo movies.
(Nither when trying to watch attachment from the MFE nor when browsing the filesystem and choosing a saved movie)
DOes it have something to do with registering the device ??
I tried to register the device (entered my site's credentials) but it goes with a constent error messages:
"Incorrect email and/or password. Please check your settings"
Then, If I try it again I'm getting the next error:
"Cannot connect to DivX registration system. Check your network settings and try again.
Your device registration code is: A43N....."
I double checked the user name and passowrd and they are correct.
The phone has internet access (both GSM and wifi) and I'm surfing the web.
Questions:
- Is there any other way to register the device ?
- Does registering the device has effect on what the software will play or net ?

We do not have a Sony Satio available for testing. If it doesn't work, we're sorry. Which version are you using? Have you tried both the v0.94 and v1.0 versions?
Even the 2 downloaded divx certified videos that came with the installation of Divx Mobile Player wouldn't show video on my Sony Ericsson Satio. Only the audio would play.

I have a Sony Ericsson Satio and am looking for a DIVX player that will run on the new symbian OS.
I realise that the OS for the satio is un-compatible for divx media mobile but was wondering if anyone new 'if or when' it would be? There seems to be a many mobiles coming out running the newer symbain OS so i thought it only logical that DIVX would release newer software or update the current one to support it.

I have a Sony Satio 12.1mpx. I cant play any divx on my phone. I have the same problem, non video, just audio. Black screen when video should appear. Some pictures instead of video sometimes, but no movement.
Do you know any divx player that actually plays on Satio?
