can new player read DVD format

can new player read DVD format

Dear All,

I was wondering if by any chance the new player would read dvd (.ifo, .vob) format directly from my hard drive ?

No VOB

No, DivX Player will not play VOB files but DivX Converter will convert those VOB files into AVI or MKV files that DivX Player can play.

Play Everything

Well, I hate to sound flippant about it, but DivX Player only plays DivX videos. VOB files are not DivX videos. DivX videos come only in AVI or MKV containers.

If DivX Player was intended to play everything, then it probably would have a different name. :)
