I hope someone can help me with this issue,
I recently re image my PC and re installed Connected 1.50.0 build 75

Now some files have a

"error initilizing audio" box when I play it.

I have 3 of these units in my house and obviously I am having the same trouble in all 3 rooms.

Here is the info
* I have installed the same k-lite code pack I had previously.
* The audio codec of the troublesome is 0x0161 (WMA v2) which gspot says is installed.
* I have looked at the "DCDShowPlaybackPlugin_sample.config" and it says -
WMAudio Decoder DMO: OS supplied
-->
< decoder type = "audio" >
< codecId >0x160< /codecId >
< codecId >0x161< /codecId >
< codecId >0x162< /codecId >
< codecId >0x163< /codecId >
So I would assumle that this would work.
* I have also changed the file name of this file from "DCDShowPlaybackPlugin_sample.config" to "DCDShowPlaybackPlugin.config"

When I convert the file to have the MP3 lame codecthey work but I have hundreds of these files and like I say it used to work before.

Is there anything else I need to do.?

Hello I tried uninstalling

Hello I tried uninstalling the codec pack and just installing the divx codecs but then even less of my media files worked.

I had this going fine before without any though and now it is driving me mad.

WMV and WMA should play even without codec packs

It may be that a codec pack is interfering in some way with WMA playback. Connected supports WMV and WMA without any additional codec packs.
