1.5 Build 75 Crash on connecting any device

I am not sure if anyone else may have run into this issue, I haven't come to any luck in determining what the problem is.
I have a D-link DSM-330 with updated firmware. When using DivX connect 1.1.0 which comes with the D-link start-up and playback work fine although some of my videos randomly don't show up, renaming fixes this problem, but not the reason for the post.
I want to upgrade to 1.5 or atleast 1.3 for some of the extra features. Whenever I install 1.5 (wiping 1.1.0 off completely) it load up fines scans through folders fine, even getting those files I had issues with before, but as soon as you connect any device to it, the DivX connect server crashes. Also if using DivX connect PC it crashes also. I have sent in a crash dump, but the answers really didn't help out. I have uninstalled, updated, reinstalled all codecs and after doing any changes 1.5 still doesn't work but I can uninstall that and go back to 1.1.0 and it works fine. The system is Windows 2k3 which is the only oddity I can think of. Plenty of all resources available. I just don't get why it will work in 1.1.0 and than crash everytime in 1.5.

Yep - I have the same problem - I'm a new user who has so far tried installs on four different systems - including a Virtual PC. Same problem - the original version of the software (1.0.0 build 49) is fine, but an upgrade to 1.5 brings immediate crash problems with divxconnected.exe. I've experienced the same problem on two winxp boxes,(32 and 64 bit), a win2k3 machine (seems Im not the ONLY nutter who runs unverified software on my server, Silverfox!) and a VM under MS Virtual PC 2007 running xp 32.
Now, either this IS happening, or we're lying - or incompetent - but whichever way, I havent seen a great deal of feedback on what would seem to be a consistent, reproduceable problem. 1.5 isnt BRAND NEW, for heavens sake!

I get the DSM-330 & Connected PC crash problem on 1.5 and WinXP when starting the divx connected server via remote desktop. Didn't happen on earlier divx releases. If you start the server locally its ok.
I really do not understand why DIVX-Connected cannot run under Remote Desktop.
It is completely UNACCEPTABLE, as I have my servers connected remote, in order not to have a million KVM swithces, and also to have the server in a remote location from the other PC's.
I really do not understand why this is a problem. We are talking about a streaming software, and the DSM-330 don't give a d... about which way the server is connected.
I would really appriciate this to be fixed ASAP, as I otherwise have bought systems I cannot use.
