Hello,
I do not have a personal computer, but I just purchased the above portable dvd player, which has divx in it. Meaning it will play those files.

In the book it says I have to registerv with divx the registration code so I can play divx files. I have registered myself as a new user, but nowhere on www.divx.com/vod can I find a place to input the actual 8 digit registration code.

Can someone please help me?

At this time, you actually use the DivX Player software to manage your DivX devices.

Install DivX 7 with the free isntaller located here:
http://www.divx.com/en/products/software/windows/divx

Then, run the DivX Player and under the Tools menu, you'll see "Device Manager".

You'll have to make an account first.

This is where you can Register your Panasonic LS-83 DVD Player.
