Divx Author 1.5.2.1 stops at 85-86%

I hope this is not the wrong palce to post this question.
I'm trying to edit several clips from my HD camera, but no mater how many clips I try to join on a single movie, the prgram stops at 85-86% and doesn't finish.
The format I'm using for all those clips is MKV converted from m2ts with DivX Converter 7.
I've tried several diferent resolutiosns, the result is the same, never finishes. And there is 8 ffdshow icons on the task bar (4 for audio decoders, and 4 for video decoders)
Any ideas?
