SAMSUNG S8300 TOCCO ULTRA EDITION
can someone please help me!!!! I have a new samsung tocco ultra which has in the phone settings a DivX VOD registration code.
The phone user manual also says that the handset is a DivX certified device, yet after following all the instruction on the Divx support webpage i cannot get the activation video to play on the handset. I get a "Unsupported file type" error message.
Someone please help!!!!
Are you using DivX Converter or Dr. DivX or something else?
For the video you are starting with, do you know what codecs and file container were used for that video?
Do all video conversions result in a green screen or just one in particular?
Sadly, some poorly constructed videos are difficult or even impossible for DivX Converter to properly read and convert even though the original video might play fine on your computer.

I got s8300, but the problem i m facing is that there is no operating system showing under the s8300 as it is required in the website to download the Divx player...
hence requesting all to help in the same concern.

You do not need to install any software on the S8300 to play DivX videos. DivX Mobile Player is not required. The S8300 should play DivX Mobile videos right out of the box.
Please keep in mind, there is no reason to register your S8300 with the DivX VOD service unless you are planning to purchase VOD titles. Currently there are no VOD titles available in Mobile format for the S8300.
The S8300 will play DivX videos without VOD registration. However, VOD activation should work. What size (in bytes) is the activation video you recieved? Can you play the activation video using DivX Player on your PC?
HELP :( I got a samsung s8300. When im trying to convert a video on the computer with divx the video plays with green screen when its finished so its green when i play the video on the computer and the phone what am i supposed to do?
