Audio Volume when creating H.264 ( MKV's )
I'm having an audio problem when I try to create MKV's from Blue Rays. I'm using AnyDVD to rip the Blu Rays to my hard drive. I'm then using RipBot264 v. 1.13.3 to create a MKV file when its done.
The audio is in sync with the movie but the volume is VERY low. I have to turn my TV up almost all the way to hear it.
This doesn't happen when I convert DVD's. Just with Blu Rays. But then again, I'm not using AnyDVD or RipBot to convert DVD's.
Any help or suggestions is GREATLY appreciated! :)

It sounds like an audio format issue. If the ripped movie audio is in DTS (if you have a working Kamiwa hack), or AC3 - any surround format for that matter, and you are playing it back through the stereo speakers of your tv, the volume will need to be turned up. This is usually the case when trying to play surround formats through stereo speakers.
Options? Downmix the surround track to stereo, although this never sounds all that great IMHO, and you occasionally get lip sync errors. Alternatively check the ripped files to see if there was a stereo track option - there might be. If there is, just remux the MKV file with the stereo track (autoMKV does this hassle free).
Or you could just get a surround system... :)
Hope this helps.
