so, ill introduce my site, AnimeFTW.tv utilizes the DivX Webplayer to deliver a whole new method for watching anime online.
The site is currently on its third design, by way of PHP/MySQL and Apache's Mod_rewrite we organized the site so that users can watch their favorite anime in the best possible quality.
My business partner and myself got the idea when we both got sick of using flash based sites that chopped up and mashed the quality so it wasnt worth watching.
As we await the next release for the webplayer we continue to add more and more videos to the site (locally hosted on our own dedicated servers) and here are the site stats as i have posted (theres more but its not on the site yet XD)

# 441.3 GB of video.
we grew from a few hundred members to close to 9 thousand with 1500+ visitors a day.
If you want to see the way we have it worked out we reluctantly need you to login, this was due to the fact that we found out that people sent bots in to view the pages and drain our once former bandwidth limits (haha). Thanks to DIvX and the webplayer we have been able to share our love for the Japanese animation with the parts of the world that cant under tradition terms :D

we currently possess over 3930 divx videos on our servers, that are roughly 20-25 minutes long apiece(hence the above numbers :p)

The interesting thing is when we design and architect a server or a server host , we don't design it for Windows or Linux, we design it for both. We don't really care, as long as we're selling the one the customer wants. The technologies we use now a days are a combination of Linux Xen, KVM and Microsoft Hyper-V. We utilize the latest Intel VT extensions to give optimum performance.
