is Divx mobile able the play divx files with ac3 sound?
Is there subtitle support for srt files (without converting the avi files). I mean like with vobsub or divxg400 on windowsxp. Or is there any other program, that can play subtitle files also?

DivX Mobile Player cannot play AC3 audio. As far as I know, there are practically no phones available that can decode AC3 audio.
Subtitle support is the same story. You'll have to "hard code" your subtitles over your video. DivX Mobile Player cannot display subtitles in any format.
