video size on N96 question
I have an N96 with S60 3rd gen software, so i installed divx and tried out a movie from my laptop, for some reason the picture is rather small and has huge borders, does anyone else get reduced video size or proper fullscreen?
I have a feeling its the format of the video, but not sure, still learning all this stuff.
DivX Mobile Player does have a "Full Screen" option on the main menu.

I have a program for format conversion, Handbrake, not sure if you know it, what are the advantages of the Divx convertor? is it something a low use user would benefit from?
Non-DivX software that is properly configured should be able to create DivX Mobile compatible video but using the default settings on Handbrake won't work reliably.
Using DivX Converter you can simply select "Mobile", drop your videos in and be certain you'll get a DivX Mobile video out.
Usually the N96 will be able to play DivX Mobile video but the N96 is not a DivX certified device. For the best experience, get a DivX Certified phone.
The file you are watching was probably created with black borders. Try some other files. DivX Mobile Player should play properly encoded videos full-screen. You may need to convert your large videos into Mobile resolution using DivX Converter.
Hi everybody, hope everything is fine.
I wish to download divx player in my nokia n96 from divx website, it downloaded but its not good, it by default has some songs & it is not original player because it is not having the full screen. when original player starts it opens with Divx good quality theme. But this one not.
And i tried to download it from othersite also but from ut shows certificate expired.
Could any one tell me how download the Divx player in my n96 mobile to watch the movies because i bought n96 to watch movies in divx player.
